Building a renewable future
The TES.POD® introduces cutting-edge thermal energy storage technology, producing clean energy where and when you need it. Welcome to the future of renewable energy.
Solar and Wind
Charged with solar energy or electricity from solar PV or wind power, providing zero emission power.
Provides both electricity and heat on demand when you need it most – perfect for off-grid.
From snowstorms to sandstorms, the TES.POD performs in the toughest of climates.
Introducing the TES.POD®
Thermal Energy Storage. Power On Demand.
Azelio’s thermal energy storage system combines engineering’s leading technological advancements in thermal energy storage, creating a viable solution for addressing society’s energy needs. With a lifespan of 30 years, and made from no scarce materials, the TES.POD is a truly sustainable solution.
- Provides 13 hours of electricity at nominal power.
- 30-year lifetime requiring no replacements and zero down-time during servicing.
- Produces power at up to half the price of diesel generators.
Renewable made reliable
Azelio’s TES.POD provides a unique solution to long-duration energy storage. An aluminum alloy is heated up to just under 600°C. When power is required heat is transferred to a Stirling engine through a heat transfer fluid. The Stirling engine can then provide 13 hours of electricity at continuous operating power - and heat between 55-65C on demand.
AZELIO'S ENERGY STORAGE & STIRLING POWER WITH:
Having Azelio’s storage solution connected to wind power means curtailed electricity can be stored and dispatched when needed. Adaption to grid code and capacity firming for system integrators and existing installations. The wind power market is global and an effective storage solution as Azelio’s would enhance the output and use of renewable energy through balanced production and demand.
