According to the South African National Development Plan, 18.8 GW of renewable energy will be required by 2030. For this, the South African government plans for a renewable energy mix with 8.4 GW of wind power, 8.4 GW of solar PV, and 1 GW of concentrated solar power (CSP). He has worked with large mining companies as well as with the commercial sector in southern Africa.
