Azelio is part of the LDES Council Net-zero Heat Initiative
The Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Council, of which Azelio is a founder technology member, announced the launch of its Net-zero Heat Initiative working group on February 11th, 2020.
An inaugural member of the initiave, Azelio has developed a long duration thermal energy storage solution which delivers clean heat and electricity around the clock.
The LDES Council advises that nearly half of our final global energy consumption consists of heat. The net-zero heat working group will develop a comprehensive perspective on heat decarbonisation with the goal of accelerating net-zero pathways across a wide range of sectors.
In addition, the group will illustrate the business cases for thermal energy storage, and its potential for offering increased energy system flexibility.
